When you place a pipe in the sea, sealife quickly joins the scene. Marine growth inside a pipe can affect its hydraulics based on the internal diameter. That’s why cleaning the pipes is essential—otherwise, you risk serious operational issues like water not reaching the intake pump, debris blocking the chamber, and even a reduction in desalination plant capacity. ⚠️
